We all have routines, rituals, patterns. Things we use often. Things we carry daily. And what you carry matters. That’s what inspires me to design, hand-make and share these products with you. From materials to production each item is fashioned with sophistication and built to last.
12 Degrees West is something that started out of an interest to design products that fit my needs and the needs of those around me. The first designs were wallets inspired and produced from vintage baseball gloves that were completely taken apart, cleaned and re-purposed to showcase their unique texture and durability. Since that original wallet, I’ve worked as a self-taught leather craftsman designing, prototyping and handcrafting over 30 products. This process has included working with different types of leather hides, stitching techniques, stamping, hand dying and conditioning, and product development using laser cutters for precision.
Whether you’re traveling, looking to show off, or just want something that will last a hell of a long time, these durable goods are a must-have for anyone looking to stay organized. Each of these items is made in small batches from the finest leathers, solid hardware, and “Made In The US” craftsmanship.
